We are back with a feature favorite- our Employee Spotlight! Each month, we like to recognize one of our hardworking employees and get to know them a little better. This month, we are featuring our Office Manager, Joyce Coker.
Q: Tell us a little about yourself and your history with A&B.
A: As Office Manager/Bookkeeper of A&B Heating and Cooling, I try to maintain an integrity that will reflect positive on Mr. Donnie and our Company. I flew to Fort Myers, FL for training on our software in April. I’ve been here a little over 8 months and we’ve reached new milestones in our technology. Working with Mr. Donnie and the other employees has been a pleasure and very rewarding through kindness and hard work.I live in Molena with my husband Denny, and we have a big heart for our animals. They teach us the meaning of love and trust every day. I have six dogs, one cat, three goats and 14 chickens. I have been blessed with two grown children and 4 grandkids. It’s important to keep the right perspective, something I strived to instill in my two Children. I often remind them, as well as my colleagues, of a story from one of my favorite books, "The Noticer". The author says that life is a lot like a game of Monopoly: you may own Boardwalk and Park Place with two hotels but, when the game is over, all those pieces are going back in the box.
Q:What is your favorite hobby and why?
A: My hobby is farming and raising our animals.
Q:If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?
A: Jerusalem.
Q:Do you have a favorite quote?
A: “Your time on this earth is a gift to be used wisely, don’t squander your words or your thoughts. Consider even the simplest action you take, for your lives matter beyond measure…and they matter forever.”
